Terms of service.
1. Orders & Shipping
Orders are shipped every Monday.
We currently deliver within the UK only.
Shipping times are estimates only; we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by couriers or external factors.
2. Food Products & Shelf Life
All chocolates are handmade using gourmet Belgian dark chocolate (58%) and dairy-free fillings.
Products are best enjoyed within 2–3 weeks of receipt and must be stored in the fridge.
As our products are fresh and perishable, they may vary slightly in appearance.
3. Allergens & Dietary Information
Ingredients and allergens for each flavour are clearly listed in the Flavours section of our website.
While all products are made without dairy, they are produced in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, and eggs.
Customers purchase and consume products at their own risk. KAKAO by Caro does not accept responsibility for allergic reactions.
4. Returns & Refunds
As chocolates are perishable food items, we do not accept returns or issue refunds once products have been dispatched.
In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos, and we will review your case.
5. Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placing them. After this window, we may already have started preparing your order and cannot guarantee cancellation.
6. Limitation of Liability
KAKAO by Caro is not liable for:
Delays or losses caused by third-party couriers.
Allergic reactions, health conditions, or misuse of products.
Minor variations in product appearance due to their handmade nature.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (logos, images, product descriptions, branding) is the property of KAKAO by Caro and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Any personal data (such as name, email, and address) is collected solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders and keeping you updated with your consent.
We will never sell or share your information with third parties.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
